Files are a great way to provide documents to portal users (sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers). These can include programs, contracts, venue maps, and so much more.
Before you can assign a file to a portal, you first will need to upload one.
Upload A File
Navigate to Portals on the navigation panel and select "Files" at the top of the page.
Select the orange "Add File" button and complete the following fields:
Once complete, click the orange "Add File" button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
Assign A File
Now that you have added your file, it is time to assign it to the respective portal.
Note: Files can be assigned to more than one portal.
Within the Portals module under "View All" hover over the portal you would like to edit and select "Settings".
Navigate to the "Share File" box and click the button "Select File".
From the list of files that have already been uploaded, click the "Select" button to the right of the title.
This is how files will be shown within the portal.
Edit Settings
Within each file, you can update the following settings:
URL (For external links only)
Title
Description
Thumbnail Image (For external links only)
Tags
Visible: Content/files can be hidden from portal users
Order: Adjust the order of all the files shown
